Meeting the needs of our youth
Some time ago, a young boy joined two organizations. He grew to become
an adult, and one of those organizations continues to have him as a member.
When asked why he stayed with the one organization, he responded that
when he joined he was made to feel welcome and important. His opinions
seemed to count and he learned while having fun. He liked being part of a
group that seemed to always give him something to look forward to. Will the
youth in our units say the same several years from now?
